According to Gourmet Magazine Moonlite's famous buffet is "spectacular" and "Puts Owensboro barbecue in a class by itself." That's nothing new for Moonlite. People come from miles around to feast on their world famous buffet. It is not uncommon to see people from all over the world, from Russian Goodwill Ambassadors, to bus loads from New Zealand, Moonlite is always a must stop for anyone visiting from out-of-state, or from out of the country. The buffet is contained in it's own room, with staff that keeps the contents fresh, clean and never ending. On one side of the buffet there is an abundance of barbecue and other meats with a large collection of country style vegetables including our special recipe Corn Muffins. Along with a large salad bar located across the room that features our own recipe for Banana Salad, our Blue Ribbon Desserts have their own counter and you can always find a warm cobbler and soft serve ice cream.
